Help Me Raise Funds For Teen Support Bags!
Dear Friends, I have made a big decision to participate in Ironman Arizona on November 24, 2019. I am so excited about the journey to achieve this amazing goal, but I want to make that goal even more meaningful by creating a fundraiser to support an inspiring organization called the Bite Me Cancer Foundation (http://bitemecancer.org/). It will be a lot of work to become a first-time Ironman, and I hope that you will sponsor my training by making a donation that will help offer hope and connection for teenagers battling cancer.
Teens with cancer fall between the younger pediatric and older adult treatment programs, and they need more support! I am proud to serve on the Board of the Bite Me Cancer Foundation, which funds cancer research and a Teen Support Bag Program. 100% of the funds raised through this effort will go to the Teen Support Bag Program, which delivers Support Bags across the country to assist and inspire teenagers in hospitals battling cancer—and you can be a part of it! So far, they've distributed bags to over 110 hospitals in 46 states and DC. Let's keep reaching these teens all over the country! Each bag costs Bite Me Cancer $65 to put together and ship, and they've been able to send out over 5,200 bags so far!
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for the Bite Me Cancer Foundation, while on my journey to becoming an Ironman. Thank you for your generosity and support.
