Bite Me Me Cancer's founder, Nikki, was diagnosed in April 2010 with a rare form of thyroid cancer. At this 2019 dinner, we will celebrate Nikki's 9th cancerversary and also honor those in the room who are cancer survivors. This event will also spotlight the challenges of teenagers dealing with cancer. They "fall through the cracks" in the hospital systems, whether they are in a pediatric ward or an adult ward. Nikki developed the Teen Support Bag for these teenagers. Donations help to sustain and expand this bag program. So far, we have given our bags to almost 5,700 teenagers battling cancer! The heartwarming and positive feedback we receive is amazing! We currently have over 115 hospitals in 46 states and DC distributing our bags directly to their teen patients. Through our mission, we also serve dinner to the families on the Pediatric Oncology Unit at INOVA Children's Hospital, Fairfax, VA, once a month. You can learn more about the foundation at www.bitemecancer.org

Our Host Committee: Nikki Ferraro, Bobbie Kilberg, Monica Tressler, Danny Vargas and Ed Zigo.
